Amber Road — Trader's Agreement

Last updated: June 2025

Every trading route runs on mutual trust and shared rules. The Amber Road is no different. These terms are the trader's agreement — plain, fair, and binding on every merchant who joins the caravan. By walking the road, you accept them.

The road

Amber Road is a free, browser-based memory card game. Match ancient treasure and cultural pairs, accumulate amber points, and walk the full length of the historic route. No payment. No account.

All traders welcome

Merchants of every age and background are welcome on the road. Amber Road is non-violent, gambling-free, and appropriate for all audiences.

Amber score

Points accumulate per matched pair, with a route multiplier for consecutive successes. Amber scores are session-only and carry no monetary value.

No wagering on the road

Amber Road contains no virtual currency, no loot mechanics, no betting systems, and no randomised prizes of any kind.

Intellectual property

All game assets belong to their creators. Personal play is freely permitted. Commercial use or redistribution requires prior written consent.

Prohibited conduct

Automated bots, exploit tools, and deliberate disruption of other traders' sessions are strictly prohibited.

No fortune guarantee

Amber Road is provided as-is. We hold no liability for indirect losses from gameplay or service outages.

Agreement updates

These terms may change. The date above marks the current version. Continued play constitutes acceptance.
